SPORTS:

Congratulations to the Varsity gymnastics team for their 3^rd place finish at the Kell Invitational last Friday.

Boys Varsity Soccer won 1-0 against #2 Lassiter last night!!!

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls tennis team for their 5-0 win over Lassiter!

Congratulations to Milton’s guys’ golf team for a 2^nd place finish in the Grizzly Classic last Saturday. They were lead by Tyler Gruca, 74, and Sanders Park, 75.

One more reminder – wear RED tomorrow!!!

• If you are trying out for cheerleading next year, all forms are due to Mrs. Stucky TOMORROW!!!
• There will be a brief Boys Golf meeting immediately after school today in room 6214.
• Track will have a short meeting immediately after school in Coach DeWeese’s room, 5210.

CLASSES:

• Attention Juniors:

GHSHT subject tests will be administered the week of March 15-19.  Attendance for each of these tests is mandatory, so be sure to be at school on those dates.  Arrive early to insure a timely arrival to the testing location before the testing period begins at 8:25am.  Students who arrive late may not be allowed to test with their classmates. As you know, you must pass each test to earn a Georgia high school diploma. And please remember to bring a four-function calculator (no graphing or text-storing allowed) all week during testing.

• Changes to Class Schedules

Due to the administration of the Georgia High School Graduation Tests (GHSGT) on March 15^th – 18^th, the order of class periods will be adjusted for all students for those four days.   The new schedules for those dates will be as follows:

ATTENTION SENIORS:

· Balfour will be here Friday, March 19^th, during all lunches, to deliver graduation announcements.

• The Milton High School PTSA is offering their 2nd annual Student Scholarship Program for the Class of 2010.  Information and applications may be obtained from the College and Career Counseling Office in the Media Center or on Milton's website.

Milton Choral Department Advanced Chorus Auditions – CHANGE OF DATES

Auditions for the Milton Chorale and Milton Women’s Select Ensembles will take place on March 22, 23, 29, and 30. The auditions will be held after school in the chorus room with Mr. Bowers. If you have any questions about the audition process, please see Mr. Bowers in the choir room 7103. There are some auditions slots before school and during flex-time as needed.
